Real wedding inspiration - Tarureka

Undeniably inspiring, a family coming all the way from the US to have their wedding at Tarureka, in Featherston, Wairarapa (of course!).
We can't deny it, the Wairarapa is growing as a wedding destination hot spot.
Captured, beautifully, and with a great deal of sensitivity by James and Michelle at Patina.
Here is what they had to say:
We love the drive to the Wairarapa; as you loop your way down from the Rimatakas, the clouds break up as the valley opens out.
Abbie and Hamish's day was no different. As we pulled up to Tarureka Estate. Hamish was lounging in the sun in front of the homestead with a few mates enjoying a beer. While girls were having a party in cottage as the hair & makeup wrapped up and they began to get Abbie dressed.
The family had flown out to New Zealand from North Carolina and it was obvious how thrilled everyone was to be here for this celebration. The day was a whirlwind with more than a few tears shed, especially during Hamish's granddad heart-felt speech.
The couple stole a few minutes for themselves in the last light of the day, and we found a beautiful olive grove where they could soak it all in, as new wife and husband.
