Woohoo - you’re engaged! That means it’s time to start celebrating - and what better way to celebrate that with an epic hen’s party, surrounded by your nearest and dearest friends?
First up, it’s a great idea to talk to your bestie/maid of honour/chief organiser about what you do - and don’t - want your hen’s celebrations to be. You might want it to be a surprise, but let them know if you have any definite must-haves or must-avoids! This will mean overall no disappointment or stress, and you can focus on having a wonderful time with your girls.
Second of all - it doesn’t just have to be girls! Again - it’s your celebration. If your best mate is a guy, that doesn’t automatically exclude him from the guest list. A hen’s do is about celebrating the bride’s closest friends, whoever they may be!

Treat yourselves with a spa day! Keep it local at Brackenridge with their wonderful spa packages, or you could head into the city for a day of luxury - Absolute Therapy offer Spa Parties for up to six guest including a range of dreamy treatments (and you can add on platters too!), or bring the bubbly to The Finishing Touch and celebrate while being pampered. Can’t go wrong!
PAINT + WINE
Um, painting while drinking wine with the girls? Sounds like a dream!
