Real Wedding - Poppies Martinborough
From dreamy vineyards to fresh olive groves - check out this gorgeous wedding captured at Poppies Martinborough by the wonderful Jaymee Photography. From those beautiful, quiet moments getting ready before the ceremony, to the laugher and joy of the reception, Sofia and Andrew's wedding was magical from start to finish - so we asked Jaymee to tell us a wee bit about her favourite moments.
One of her standout moments of the day? "The girls' preparations - seeing everyone's reactions once Sofia had her dress on. Also, the first look - this is always a special moment"! And who could have dreamt of a more perfect, idyllic spot to see each other for the first time on your wedding day! "Sofia came up with the idea for the olive grove. They had recently purchased a block of land with the olive trees, so they thought this would be a special spot to start with the bridal party. This is where they did their first look."
Talk about the ideal colour palette - blue skies, golden sunlight and the green of the fields and vineyard created the perfect backdrop for Sofia, Andrew and their bridal party. "The styling was so well put together. I loved how all the girls wore white in combination with the colours in their bouquets. Sofia has a great eye for details, which made everything look so good: a photographers dream." From the ties and the bouquets, to the cake and the table settings, they certainly nailed the styling from start to finish.
Cast your eye over some of Jaymee's shots from the day - you're sure to get caught up in her captures of beautiful moments between the stunning couple and their smiling friends and family. "I like to keep things natural and real. Everyone felt really relaxed on the day, so it was really easy to capture their connections."
